It is our pleasure at Port City to help you with your pet's travel needs. Please be mindful that if you are not a current client/patient of Port City Animal Hospital, all of the important medical records including Vaccines (including dates), Medications, and Health Conditions should be sent to us before your appointment. Failing to do so will result in longer than normal appointment times due to our inability to prepare for your pet’s visit beforehand.
Place of Travel: It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know all of the medical requirements your pet needs to travel to the country. Some countries require vaccines to be given in a certain order or certain time intervals, parasite prevention, Rabies titers (3-6 weeks for results), or more.
Please inform us of the health certificate form to use (it varies by country, especially Asian countries), bring the checklist, and whether it needs to be approved by the USDA prior to travel.
We love to help you and your pet to get to your destination but please help us because we cannot stay up to date on all of the world's travel protocols. Please see the APHIS travel site at https://www.aphis.usda.gov/
